Hey Folks! We are back after a week off, and like always, when that happens, we come back to a large stack of topics.  We start off talking about Hellclock and Grimshire, two great games that Grace has been playing quite a bit of.  From there, we discuss Kodra’s adventures in GenCon as he talks about the various LARPs he played in and some exploration of the Starfinder 2 system.  Bel talks about how he has come to understand eSports through Path of Exile and discusses a bit about The Gauntlet event that is wrapping up.  Bel also talks about effectively trying to speed run several decades worth of advancements in wargaming as he juggles trying to figure out what paint range to invest in.  We briefly discuss our non-spoiler thoughts about The Fantastic Four movie, and then a few updates on the books we have been reading.

AggroChat #489 – Kodra the Dreamer

Featuring: Ashgar, Belghast, Grace, Kodra, Tamrielo, and Thalen
Hey Folks! This week we are taking a break from the Dawntrail topic because Ammo was not available.  As a result, we dive into a normal topic load starting with Grace talking about their experience playing Diablo IV Season 5.  From there we dive into a mega topic of Kodra and his recent trip to GenCon.  He talks about True Dungeon, Various Assorted LARPs, and some of the cool stuff from the convention floor.  We also dive into a discussion about how a convention reforms its reputation as being the D&D convention into something more open and welcoming. From there we realize that the Age of Sigmar topic is going to get bumped again…  but end up also having a bit of a pre-discussion.  Finally, we wrap things up with the charming indie game Thank Goodness You’re Here. Featuring: Ashgar, Belghast, Grace, Kodra, Tamrielo and Thalen

Tonight Belghast completely crashes and has to reboot, during the intro.  Additionally Kodra also crashes at some point during the LARP conversation and we sorta have to move on while he comes back online.  It is one of those shows. You have been warned. We talk about GenCon and the convention going experience. We talk a bit about Steambirds Alliance and what a bullet-hell-perma-death-steampunk-bird-mmo is like.  If you have enough dashes you can connect any genres! We talk about Monster Hunter World on the PC and how it isn’t quite the dumpster fire that the internet reports it to be. We talk about questing in 4X games and why everyone but Bel seems to think this is an awesome.  Then we sorta break down into a lengthy diatribe about Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder and which versions were good at what. It’s a Show!
