Hey Folks! This week, we start off talking about Four Job Fiesta and how Ash’s playthrough is going as he takes the donation route to fix his class choices.  Bel talks about the Absolum a new demo up on Steam which mashes together Streets of Rage, Hades, and Darkest Dungeon into a really fun Roguelike Beat Em Up. From there, Kodra talks about his recent foray into Minecraft Dungeons and how it is a really good entry point to the ARPG/Diablo-like genre.  Ash has been revisiting Guild Wars 1 and talks about his progress so far.  Thalen shares his early thoughts about Persona 5 The Phantom X and how it seems to be a non-egregious gacha.  Finally, Kodra and Bel go on at length about the current Path of Exile league.

AggroChat #301 – Sega is Bad at Launchers

Featuring: Ammo, Ashgar, Belghast, Grace, Kodra, Tamrielo and Thalen… also featuring special guest Nephsys
Tonight we welcome our good friend Nephsys along for this ride because she more or less got kidnapped into the podcasting channel.  We start the show with some discussion about being back in Final Fantasy XIV and the current event where they bribe us to do unpopular content.  One of those content types is Rival Wings, and Bel talks about how it is PVP that he actually enjoys.  From there we break into a discussion inspired by a conversation that happened while watching the cutscenes of Praetorium, which is what games would you like to forget so you could experience them fresh again for the very first time?  We talk for a bit about the afterglow of watching your friends get into something that you really liked.  Finally we nestle into the main topic of the week which is the somewhat awkward North American PC launch of Phantasy Star Online 2.

Topics Discussed

  • Mogrocks for Mounts in FFXIV
    • Rival Wings is Fun
  • Forgetting a Game to Play it Fresh again
    • The Afterglow of Friends Experiencing Games
  • Phantasy Star Online 2 NA PC Launch
    • The systems within systems
    • Figuring things out

Aggrochat #188 – The Persona 5 Show

Featuring: Ashgar, Belghast, Grace, Kodra, Tamrielo and Thalen

This week we are back after an impromptu absence brought on by the Flu.  It is time to record our December/January game of the month show…  Persona 5.  This was Tam’s pick and he went back and forth as to whether or not he should pick such a long game.  However considering we recorded two full hours of packed conversation I am guessing it was a pretty great choice.  We also announce Grace’s pick for the February game of the month…  Pyre a game that surprisingly only one of us has played given just how much we tend to love games from Super Giant.
